The Fender Washer is made from grade 316 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance and durability. It is available in sizes ranging from 1/4″ to 1/2″. It differs from a standard washer in that the outside diameter is much larger in proportion to the center hole. The Fender Washer can be placed under the head of a nut or bolt to help distribute forces applied when tightening.
